Let's see. has it really been 35 years since we were all together at EGHS? The last reunion I went to was (I think) the 15 year one. It was held at the Holiday Inn Beachside and was so boring that never went to another. I have pretty much stayed in Florida all this time. After a 4 year stint in the Marine Corps, I came back to Eau Gallie and went back to school. I worked my way through Brevard Junior College by running live sound for local bands. Eventually I needed a day job and started doing land surveying work. I ended up getting a full academic scholarship to FIT, where I studied Electrical Engineering, where I learned that I did not want to be an electrical engineer. A bad car accident during the spring of my senior year put an end to that direction in my life. I continued land surveying, and eventually moved to Pensacola to be nearer my Mom, who was getting up there in years. I got my Land Surveying license, bought a house, and started my own surveying business. In 2005 Hurricane Ivan came through Pensacola, leaving behind a lot of destruction. And then the next year Hurricane Dennis followed, dropping a large pine tree on the roof of my house.
