Life
My Spouse
I met Charlotte King at Northside Christian Church, but thought she was annoying. Later, while I was in the military, she was conned into writing me because I would be lonely. The same person conned me into taking her out while visiting since she had written to me. She quickly became my best friend and we were married in December of 1983.
My Pets
Allergies in the family have cut down on dogs and cats, but my daughter really wanted something. When my nephew moved away, we took his bunny as our own. His name is Pooh (NOT short for Pooh Bear). He stays in the garage when it's cold and my daughter takes good care of him.
My Kids

h school. He is very shy and definitely isn't striving to be the top of his class. He does well in anything that interests him, but just gets by in everything else. Nikki is a real contrast to Bob. She has never met a stranger. She strives to be the best at everything, from sports, to social, to academics. Anything less than the best is not good enough for her.
My Job
Despite my initial shyness, I am now a full-time minister. I'm the only minister on staff, so I do pretty much everything, from teaching and preaching to administrative and pastoral work. I love what I do and I love the people that I deal with. Having done several other jobs through the years, I know that this is the only job for me.
