Robert's Story
I was born in Connecticut where my dad was stationed at the submarine base. His submarine now is a national historic landmark in Baltimore. We moved to Cleveland when I was five and went to Catholic school till I went into the Marine Corp. I spent four years in the Corps fixing communication and navigation equipment for airplanes.
After the marines I went to college where I paid my bills by playing music. My biggest gig was opening for Elvin Bishop by myself for over 20,000 fans.My brother was a policeman in Ohio and when he go...Expand for more
t killed I dropped out of University of Florida and started working for Xerox. Xerox transferred me to California where I live today. I still play music and pursue my hobby of paleontology. In 1996 my wife and I played with the Watsonville Band at the White House South Lawn on July 4th for President Clinton. I played trombone. I've helped excavate a complete Camarasaurus as well as one of the most complete Stegosaurus ever found(Sara). I work for a supplement company as a database developer. I also do lapidary in my spare time.
