Robert's Story
Went in to the Navy out of high school, boot camp in Orlando Fl, graduated boot camp in Oct 75 and transferred to Naval Hospital San Diego for Hospital Corp school. After that transferred back to Naval Regional Medical Center Portsmouth, Married Cindy Core (class of 76) in 77. Spent the next few years at various duty stations in the tidewater area. Divorced in 85, Attended Naval Undersea Medicine School in Groton CT and subsequently assigned to the USS Olympia SSN 717 in HI in 86. Married Lynn Christine Morton in 1988, had 3 boys in HI, Kristoffer in 89, and Alexander and Nicholas in 90. Transferred to Charleston in 90 and have lived there since. USS L. Mendel Rivers SSN 686. Attended Medical University of SC in 96 and have been a Physician Assistant since.
I still live outside of Charleston in Goose Creek, SC and currently a Locums PA, traveling anywhere there is a job for a PA in an ED.
I''m still married to Chris who travels with me. We have been married 32 years at this writing.
Oldest son is a Naval Flight Officer, currently stationed in Norfolk, Him and his wife Erin gave us our 1st grand daughter Sept 2019.
Alexander live in Indianapolis and is a bourbon sommelier. He's unmarried.
Nicholas is a professional mechanical engineer in San Jose, CA. He;'s married to Michaela, who works for Apple which is the reason they life there.
