School
Hi Charlotte High School.
After 22 years of active Army service, I retired and moved back to Charlotte. Okay it was north Port, but I worked and my children attended Charlotte schools. Jason graduated from CHS Class of 04.
In Aug 04, we packed up and moved to Crown Point Ind. My wife is from this area and we moved back to help take care of her Mom. I'm now a manager of a franchise Jiffy Lube. Been with them for 3 years. Made "Rookie Manager of the Year" my first year. Been to the Colts games and bowled two different years with Colts players to raise money for Toys for Tots. Been to the Indy 500. All courtesy of Jiffy Lube. My oldest lives in Charlotte county. He currently runs his own business but is applying to the FHP. My daughter is first year HS and Zack is in 5th grade. My wife is a dialysis technician at the local hospital. We have two dogs' Buckwheat (Scottie) and Lea (White Perinnes). Four cats, 2 turtles, 2 rabbits and a hamster. The llama gets delivered next week. hehehehe!

Well, back in Jul 1975 a young 18 year old boy from Florida left home to join Uncle Sam's Army. I was going to be a Soil's Analysist. Before Basic was over I was given a choice to change my MOS. I chose 67v10. A gr...Expand for more
eat decision in retrospect. My first assn. was Ft Rucker. There in 76' I had the chance to join the elite "Silver Eagles". They were in their last year and I jumped at the chance. I went to most of the eastern/central states. What a great time. Worked with the cream of the crop professionals in Army Aviation. My future travels took me to Germany twice, Korea, Desert Storm, five weeks in Alaska. Ft Campbell, Ft Riley, Ft Hood, and HAAF. PLC in Bad Tolz, ANCOC (Distingushed Honor grad) First Sergeant course, Ft Bliss. Was selected for 1SG didn't have a year's TIG as E-7. Held 5 positions as First Sergeant. Escorted the SMA at the 1st Inf Div's 75th Anniv. When I was in ODS, I saw this SP4 and something about her drove me crazy. Shortly after returning stateside, we began to date. In 1992 we married and the rest is a fairy tale. I retired after 22yrs of service. Back when I was a Sgt and realized I was going to stay til retirement, I promised myself I would attain the rank of 1SG, not MSG. And I did, life is good. I made so many friendships through those 22 yrs. I hold each and everyone dear to my heart and hope that each and everyone of you are doing well in your life and your dreams are coming true. Soldier on!
