Robert's Story
Life
I am the father of four children, the grandfather of six and the husband of my wife Mary for 33 years. I am currenly working at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. It is a campus of almost 20,000 students. I came to Cal Poly Pomona 30 years ago
as an assistant professor and Director of Forensics (Debate, etc>). I later became Assoc. Dean of the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences. After ten years I became the Director of Instituional Research. Eight years later I ...Expand for more
became the Associate Vice President of Acadedmic Resources, Administration and Planning.
I don't get to teach much any more, but when I do, I am usually teaching a course called Public Opinion, Propaganda and the Mass Media. My personal time (other than with my family) is invested in building the geneology of my family, reading, creating bonsai plants,and serving as a member of the local school board.
I would be glad to hear from any of you that have survived to the ripe old age of 58 too.
