Robert's Story
Hi everyone! Happily retired now in Colorado Springs after a 33 year career as a firefighter/ paramedic for the Clark County Fire Dept. in Las Vegas, Nv. Graduated in 1970 from the University of San Francisco with a B.A. degree in Sociology. Prior to that I was a Torero for the University of San Diego. Ruben Escabosa was my pledge sponsor for the Alpha Delta Gamma Fraternity. How goes it Brother Snake?
I fondly remember the Irish Christian Brothers who instilled in me the value of academics. It is because of Brother Sattethwaite that I did so well in Paramedic School for all the Latin that he taught us "less than nothings." Remember, it was his favorite quote to us who were his students.

I fondly remember kids such as Ralph Chavez, Bob DeAlba, Danny Sanchez,Kevin Pawlick, Tony Caruso, Gene Reams, Mike Kitahara, Mitch Loza, Albert Arciero and Frank Gruber. Remember Dante Scarnecchia and his playing the accordian for us in Sister Paula's class. Now he is a very successful coach for Bill Bellichick and the New England Patriots.
I am pleased to see that Jim Samsing is doing very well. I remember a very special day when Jim and I palyed golf together with Jane Bastanchury(Booth). Janey a graduate from SHM went onto a golf scholarship at Arizona State. It was a great day that I played with those two as they shared their dreams with me.
