Robert's Story
Life
I was born and raised in Arizona, mostly Phoenix. I attended Washington High school in Phoenix. I joined the Marine Corps when I was 17, and spent the next 3 months in boot camp followed by 4 months in Portsmouth Virginia for school. My permanent duty station was Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. I spent 3 years and 3 months there. I got married in Hawaii and fathered my first child, Theresa. spent 2 years planning and tracking Petro-chemical plant shutdowns before taking a job with Arizona Public Service (APS) in Phoenix, AZ. I spent the next 15 years planning and scheduling nuclear power plant work. I divorced in 1996 and have been single since. I now work in the behavioral health care industry. My children are living on their own. I have taken up a number of outdoor activities that soothe my soul. I enjoy many things including:
