Robert's Story
1953 Hello world!
1958 Mom started me on piano.
1961 Dad started me on flying.
1969 I started me on girls.
1972 Some friends graduated with summa cum laude. I graduated with an oh boy thank ya lordi.
1972 Started college at Vietnam U. Didn't stay long enough for my degree.
1974 Returned home with a few less brain cells, a little pissed off, and a lot of priorities. A strong family makes the difference.
1975-1981 Music major in Nassau College, met the most beautuiful girl I ever saw. I gigged on weekends; weddings, bar mitsva's "Your fruit cups are being served". Flew aircraft when ever I could (Islip Long Island). FAA didn't like me flying within the TCA...too busy up there. Its was like walking across the LIE at 6pm with blindfolds.
1982 My last date on Long Island, at the Jones Beach (August) with the woman of my dreams, and the same from Nassau College. However, she was never to know, or even expecte...Expand for more
d how deeply I felt. But, I had to leave, and was commited to leave NY, and re-start a flying and aerospace career in California...Where else? I wanted the shuttle, butttt...

1990 Married (first time)
1996 Daughter (only child)
1997 If ya can't beat'em, join'em. Joined the FAA as an Inspector/investigator/pilot in Texas, Florida, Washington DC.
2009 FAA State Dept./American Embassy Singapore International Field Office
2010 FAA Still looking for bad guys on this side of the ball.
2011 Ask me next year!
Retirement? When they decide to ground me! Or I'll do consultation "how not to make a smokin hole in the ground".
*By the way.....where is everybody. I've only been gone for 39 years!
I play piano every day. It keeps me sane.
