Robert's Story
After high school I went to DeVry Institute of Technology in Phoenix Az. and got my degree in Electronic Engineering Technology in 1976.
My first real job was in microprocessor engineering at Texas Instruments in Houston. I couldn't sit still, so I joined Aero Service in 1979 and spent 6 years traveling the world doing aerial surveying.
In 1985 I transfered to engineering and in '86 met my wife Nancy, a map maker. Aero Service was swallowed by Western Geophysical and I wound up as a design engineer...Expand for more
in Advanced Technology Navigation group where I helped develop GPS navigation systems.
In 2001 Western Geo. was bought by Schlumberger and my boss and I immediately quit.
We formend PBX Systems LLC the next day. We are still going strong selling navigation and telemetry systems and supporting the seismic and surevy industries.
My hobbies include backpacking, kayaking, jewlery making, and motorcycles. I currently have 4 Harleys, built from 1972 to 2007.
To my great regret, I still live in Houston Tx.
