Robert's Story
Life
From the present, back.
After high school I joined the Navy for 3 years. I have been a foreman, field engineer, insurance agent, property investor, retired, got bored and now drive an 18 wheeler coast to coast. I now have a teaching certificate and making plans to go to China and teach English. I got married again but she is still in China where we have a home together.
I have 3 wonderful children and 4 grandchilden, all are doing well and happy.
My travels have included back packing through Europe for 3 months. It ...Expand for more
was cut short when I was robbed in Rome. Than later I have been to Mexico, most of Asia and the South Pacific.
My future plans are enjoying my children and grandchildren, also teaching in areas I haven't been to. I think I will never retire since there are too many things I haven't done and places I haven't seen.
OK, another update. I am now living in Shaoxing, China. I have my teaching job and it's the best and lowest paying job I have had in the last 30 years. I really enjoy teaching these students, work is fun for a change.
