Robert's Story
Life
In case anyone wants to know? Married for 27 years with 2 boys, both graduated from college the oldest is a music teacher and the youngest is going for his master's degree.
My wife Denise and I live in a small town outside of Pittsburgh Pa. for the last 13 years. Before that we had lived in Riverside Ca and Anaheim Ca. After nearly 15 years with Pacific Bell I took a early retirement when we moved back east and bought into a business.
I haven't been back to Ca. since we moved here and really don't miss it much at all. She is from back here and is why we elected to move here, there was a time when we thought of moving to Cedar City Utah.
After school I lived between Las Vegas and Anaheim mostly, getting burned out in Vegas to return to Anaheim and get bored. Finally staying for a while, going to work for the phone company, meeting my wife and starting a family.
Now days with just Denise and I at home, she works for the phone co. here and I have still have part of my business going and work also making French doors for a company. I suffered a number of heart attacks nearly 9 years ago, somehow I am still here? We have a smaller place outside of Pittsburgh about 27 miles southeast. This sure isn't Inglewood or Orange Co. nor anything like Vegas. Small quiet and a whole lot slower.
I guess I can say life has been good to me. Long marriage, a couple of boys that turned out pretty good and are doing well for themselves. Their names are Christopher and Jonathan. Chris the music teacher lives in even a more remote part of Pa. north of Harrisburg, while Jon is still attending college in Pittsburgh and living there with 3 buddies working on his masters.

etty much not traveling far ever since moving here. I work a lot, keeping busy, doing things around and on the house, yard and such. Boring would how most people see it. We bought our little yellow house with a white picket fence and had two cats in the yard. The house isn't yellow any longer..one of the cats died (19 yrs. old) and I took down the fence. We found with the fence up somehow the local skunks would find a way into the yard but not find a way out. The bunnies and deer and such never had any troubles, naturally, just the skunks!
Most guys back here hunt, I don't, but have become enlighted as to owning handguns and rifles, got into a gun club, shooting range and all into doing my own reloading and so did Denise.
For a while back in the late '70's I played in a band with some friends around Orange Co. mainly. Naturally I quit the band and they went on to bigger and better things.
Time has flown by as now it's 2008 and I'm 54 years old and guess anyone reading this and knowing me would most likely be about the same. Doesn't seem like that long ago going to high school, but does seem like a different life. If any of you from those days care, I did end up married to my high school sweetheart. It didn't last long, my fault or her's, doesn't matter, we were young, too young. I was going about in circles for a few years afterwards until meeting and getting married again. I have done and accomplished things that as a young man always wanted to do or have. Time is now for my kids to do and to have and for me to ride off into the sunset. I wish you all the best of things and for the blessings you deserve. I am listed if anyone wants to give a ring, the answering machine is always on.
