Hello everyone. Sorry this has taken so long, but here in New Mexico, wifi signals keep falling out. I think even a bird flying by will disrupt the signal. Now I'm on my old obsolete mac connected to satellite. Hope it works. Below is what I've been doing since graduation in 1967. 1. Attended North Ga. Military College for 2 years. Work at the Atlanta Airport during the summers fueling aircraft. 2. In the fall of 1969 - enlisted in the U.S Coast Guard. First duty station was Apalachicola, Fl.. Tended navigational lights in the region. Went to aircraft maintenance school in Elizabeth City N.C. Was then assigned to helicopter detachments on icebreakers. The SS Glacier to the Arctic and the SS Northwind to Antarctica - 6 months tour each. Visited Lima Peru, Valpariso Chili, New Zealand, Australia, and Hawaii. 3. Worked as an aircraft fueler at the San Francisco airport from 1974 - 1978. 4. In 1978 I signed up as an aircraft mechanic for the Dept. of Defense working at the Naval Aviation Depot in Alameda, Ca. I finished my degree at night at Embry Riddle University at the Depot. I acquired my A & P license and pilot's license as well. I became an aircraft examiner and inspector. I had a clearance to work on highly 'sensitive' aircraft all over the world including Holland, Spain, Portugal, Guam and various locations in the states. Worked, examined, and inspected primarilay P-3's, but did some work on S-3's, C-118's, A-3's, and F-8's. 5. In 1995 the NADEP in Alameda was slated for closure and I was transferred to the NADEP at the Marine Corp air station in Havelock N.C.
