Robert's Story

Attended JC, Joined Navy in 67 -Electronics Tech/Nuc Reactor Operator on submarines Married junior high school sweetheart in 69. Out in 73 - Worked at Seal Beach Naval Weps Station for 9 years. Our Daughter was born in 79. 82 - Worked for Hughes Aircraft as Metrology Engineer and spent 3 yrs in Australia with wife and daughter. Returned to work in El Segundo for 86 until 98. r a start up company, Vosi Technology in Costa Mesa. It failed in 2002 after kicking Motorola's behind in pattent litigation. Ultimately Motorola buried us in court costs so we quit the fight. 2002 went back to Raytheon, bought Hughes Defense in 97, and am still working in Raytheon Primary Standards lab as a SR Metrology Engineer. Daughter and her two kids (I now have 3 kids at home) live with us.
