Mimi's Story

Life Well, life is a long journey and I feel like I've made it several times. My husband, Rob, and my two daughters are now living in SE Atl, GA caring for my Dad. Fortunately Rob and I are self-employed so when we found an incredibly good nursing home for Dad, we just picked up and moved. We actually live next door. I homeschool my girls and they spend time with Grandpa everyday after school. (They take turns going to the nursing home as they're in those teenage years and don't always "agree" on how things should be done.)The nurses love them and task them to do other things like help with their community outreach, yard sales, fund raisers, and the like. Since Dad is 89, we have truly prioritized his needs. We have postponed some of those dreams that people our age are just getting around too, lol! We do have a business that we love and are quite passionate about and it has afforded us the ability to do things like pick up and move. I work primarily on the internet but have had the opportunity to get out in the community and network some. We market consumable items that prevent ADD, ADHD, allergies, cancer, heart disease, immune disorders, obesity and other things that plague our loved ones. And we do it at a price that competes with the "dollar" stores so it is available to the masses! If you want to know more about the items we market please get in touch with me. I'd love to help! This is such a significant time in our lives, hitting the big 50. Times past as well as the future become equally important. As our kids grow, I find I have more time to reaquaint with old friends. And I find my girls enjoy m...Expand for more
y old friends too!! Workplace Right out of college to the corporate life. Worked my way up to a pretty significant position and realized I wasn't fond of it. GE moved me around enough to find my husband Rob,in Charlotte and give me an out! The integrity we learned as children was not real prevalent where I was and I was ready to bail. Rob is from a restaurant background and we've owned a few. We had 5 Papa John's in western Carolina for a while and then realized we needed to head to Columbus because of Mom's and Dad's health issues. Having an entreprenurial spirit, we looked for something that we could do together. We also looked for something that we could do with integrity. We finally found a business marketing reasonably priced consumables that are more effective, non-toxic for your family and environmentally safe. I have learned from this that soo many health issues are preventable. Cancers, heart disease, Asthma, Ezcema, Psoriasis, ADD, ADHD, SPD, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and so many more. Fortunately this isn't sales, because that's something I'm not really good at....If you're interested in finding a solution to a problem that you or someone in your family has been dealing with for a long time or just getting that energy back from High School, I'd love to help! NO, this is not multi-level. We generally spend our summers at one of the state parks on the Florida panhandle. This affords us broadening our market and also getting some sun and relaxation. (I have found absolutely NO stress at the beach!) We're home now and readjusting to Atlanta life. But we'll be back next summer!
