Robert's Story
1967-Attended school in Milwaukee.
1968-Received diploma for Mechanical Drafting. Worked as a drafter.
1969-I was a drafted volunteer in the US Army.
1970-Got married. Went to Canada. Also went to Vietnam.
1971-Took R&R in Hawaii. Later transferred to South Korea. Transferred back to Virginia.
1973-Son was born. Moved back to Wisconsin. Started mechanical drafting job in Fond Du Lac.
1975-Started new job in Green Bay.
Also, went to NWTC night school.
1976-Another son was born.
1979-New job with Arien's Co.
1982-Graduated NWTC with associates degree in Mechanical Design.
1989-Took family...Expand for more
on vacation to Washington DC.
1991-Went on vacation to Alabama to see oldest son graduate from U.S. Army basic training.
1995-Oldest son graduated college.
Youngest son graduated high school.
2001-Employment ended with Arien's Co. in September.
2002-Worked three part time jobs.
2004-Started working at Auto Zone.
2005-Sold mobile home and bought a house.
2017-Had an accident, in January, while working. I was driving a van, delivering parts when a pickup pulled in front of me. The van was totaled! At hospital, Dr.s said that I could go home.
2020-Still working! 16 years at Auto Zone.
