Life 2002 My Spouse JoAnn and I met on a blind date. We were set up by mutual friends and on my birthday she invited me to a Salem Volcanos baseball game, she knew more about the game than I did. We dated for two years and then she proposed. JoAnn and my twelve year old daughter, Amber, are my true blessings. I'd be lost without either one of them. 2008 Amber is 18 now. An A student, popular and works hard but Good Golly we had some rough years. She's starting to come around now. Well, just today she carried the trash out without being asked! Yippy! Jo and are in our eighth year now. Wow, I had no idea a parnership could be so fullfilling. We're still growing strong. What's wierd is that we are so different. I'm labor-she's HR. I cuss a bit-she rarely says poop. The only times (3) I have heard her swear, have been at me. She acts with her heart, I act with the game. I'm lucky we found each other, I don't know that she could say that. The only commons we have are our Love and Christian faith, well and maybe a couple of other things. 2016 Jo and I are 16 yr. now. Amber just completed her Masters in Psycology-family counseling. I'm still with Bonneville Power, U S Dept of Energy. Worked last 7 yr as a work planner scheduler. Now am the manager of that small but mighty work group. I have an office in Salem and Vancouver. Who'd a thunk?? A couple yr ago we sold our home in west Salem and got 2 ac. In the country. Another nice home but the crown jewel is the 4000sq ft shop. Now I have more projects than I have time for. Someday I'll retire but shoot, they treat me so good. I think I'll take it to 70! I took hiatus from drag racing last couple of yr~getting the shop together. Am just now starting to rebuild the car again. Plus, Sweet Jo wants some of the action and am putting a car...Expand for more
