Robert's Story
After I graduated Hillside High I went to Seton Hall and majored in Sociology. At the end of my sophomor year I met my wife, Patty, from Toms River, N J and we got married a year later on June 20, 1970 and have been married ever since. We have two sons, Shawn (36) and Ryan (25), who was born with two serious heart conditions and was successfully operated on when he was 1 1/2 years old at Deborah Hospital. inished my career working as a Senior Vice President of Operations with Ocean First and made enough money with my positions and in the stock market to retire at the age of 55. The one thing that I would have done over was ask out Jenny San Filipo, who I have a serious crush on, but I didn't ask her out because she had gone out with one of my best friends, Larry Baiza, and somehow I thought asking her out would hurt my loyalty to Larry.
