Robert's Story
Life
I will be married to the same great gal 45 years on June 12th, 2010. We have not had children, but enjoy many neices & nephews and wonderful friends of all ages. I retired from teaching instrumental music in 1982, and retired from USPS (rural mail carrier) at the end of Dec. 2000 I have my own piano tuning & repair business and do enough to make a little extra income. I am an instrument rated pilot & own 2 airplanes - a '76 Cessna 182, & a '46 Luscumbe 8E. We live a few miles East of town on 90 acres, 1 block from the Geneseo Airport. My real passion in life is composing new songs and playing guitar & singing. My compositions are inspired by things I read and hear; and by people and events that have touched me in a special way. Paraphrases of Bible passages, everyday life experiences, stories and issues are some of the things I write about. nkful to my Lord, Jesus Christ for all He's done and is continuing to do, in and through me. Recently, I have had great visits with Paul Bakken, and my old buddy, Lance Hanson. My wife, Barbara Swanson Kuhns, is Veterinarian. She recently sold her Private Practice in Geneseo and is retired as well after 34 years of Mixed Animal Practice. She is a lovely, talented, busy gal and plays active roles on several boards and committees in our church and community.
I am still the same sweet guy you used to know and am enjoying GOOD health. I try to exercise and eat right and watch my weight. It gets harder as the years go by to keep that trim figure but my wife and I are trying to encourage each other to stay at it. Blessings to you all.
