Robert's Story
I had no issue in S.E. Asia so I went to Humboldt State to check out forestry. (so who wants to develop a better way of to use wood pulp anyway?) Interest tests told me to look into architecture. y a cracked skull, and just lost a summer. Back at the UW that Fall, I kept at it until graduated eventualy in '74 (cause I took some time off for more Alaska, Sierra City, horse back, and pro patrolling adventures) (not necessarily in that order). Then, when I finally settled down to designing for a prominent naval architecture firm on the Seattle waterfront, it allowed me to indulge in some super travel to places like Sitka, Alaska, Old San Juan in the Carribean, and Singapore. It's been 35 years doing what I love in ship design (for a few more years) I do have a wonderful Bermudian wife (of 30 years), a son I'm proud of in Boston, and a daughter who's living a life anyone could envy. Ask me more when I see you this summer.
