Life
I'm not sure how to embark upon this...but here goes nothing.
In November I will celebrate my 28th wedding anniversary. I have two incredible son's, a 25 year old Cody and a 23 year old Russell. The later of which married a wonderful young lady in June of 2005. In June of this year Cody married a wonderful young lady too!
My wife and I have what we think is the greatest grandson in the world. If I'd have known grandchildren were so much fun I would have started with them.
I have made a carreer change recently, I have accepted a position with an Inspection company here in Texas. I am developing the advanced service group and helping to grow the business in general.
My eldest son is a systems operator and works for the same company that I do, my youngest works full time for an architect while attending the University of Houston studying architectural design.
My daughter-in-law works in the health profession while attending classes to obtain a b...Expand for more
usiness management degree.
My wonderful wife can't sit still and refuses to hang out at home. She manages the shipping department for a national plastics company as well as volunteers her time to the local fair association. She and I both own motorcycles and we spend much of our free time with our "knees in the breeze".
We've traveled a million miles and seen most of this country before settling in Texas and raising our two sons. Now they are starting their own lives and building their own futures.
It's been a heck of an adventure but in retrospect, save a few instances, I wouldn't change much even if I could.
I've buried both of my parents, both of my wifes parents, a brother, all of my grand parents a few friends and the children of a couple of friends and have learned a few things along the way. You can't get out of life alive. Life is short. And most importantly, it does matter how you live and have lived your life.
You only get one to the best of our knowledge, live it right and make it count.
