Hi Everyone,
Hope you're doing well.
I joined this CLASSMATES thing about 15 years ago. Haven't had a whole lot of comments, but that's okay I guess. Everyone from '78 is getting older, hopefully getting ready for retirement, if they haven't already. Unfortunately, I've heard and read about some of those who haven't made it this long.
I've mentioned before that I like to do cycling. An older cycling buddy of mine rode 100 miles when he turned 70. I thought to myself, "Damn, 70 years old and able to ride that far." So that gave me some incentive to 'keep up' with my older buddy, and I rode 102 miles for my 60th b-day. This year, at 61, I rode 104 miles in a little over 6 hours. It wasn't...Expand for more
a race, I didn't set any land speed records, it was about getting outside and looking around at everything I've been missing over the last several years. Seeing things I haven't noticed, and thanking the good Lord for giving me the ability to ride this far and appreciate the things around me. That's what the future will hold, for me anyway. Being able to look back at the positive things we've done/accomplished and hopefully passed along some encouragement to others, to expand their pursuits in life.

didn't care for the way school went. If I had to do it over again I'd do it differently.
Workplace
Doing mechanical design work, solid models, drawings, misc. design stuff.
