Robert's Story

I am retired and now living in Guelph Ontario. Married with three grandchildren and a full plate of volunteer work and boards of directors that I sit on. My wife and I have started a charity Recovery Speaking aimed at assisting those in recovery who need trauma counselling and do not have the means to pay for it. Still playing golf, not well but I am loving it...Expand for more
. Like many other life has presented it challenges and I have been down and out but been in recovery myself for several years and now living a very full and gifted life. I have had the pleasure of speaking with and actually breaking bread with a few of my former classmates and would welcome the opportunity to connect with more of you. Be well and Keep smiling.

The Bishops of the world gather tomorrow at the Vatican for four days at a gathering entitled "The Protection of Minors Meeting". As a basis they will be using a document prepared by the Canadian Bishops last year entitled
