Robert's Story
In October of our Senior year I received an appointment to West Point and I joined West Point 4 weeks after we graduated. I graduated in June of ‘73 and entered the Army as a 2nd Lt. I enrolled in the Army’s Airborne and Ranger schools and enjoyed 5 years in the Army. I left the Army in ‘78 and received an MBA from Ga. State and went to work for Procter & Gamble in Manufacturing. 83 and joined PepsiCo where I worked through ‘91. In ‘91 I joined H-E-B in San Antonio Texas where I have been for the last ‘28 years, 25 as SVP of Manufacturing. I attended the Harvard Executive MBA program while at H-E-B, graduating in 2000. I have been married to Kathy for 45 years and we have 2 grown and married sons with 3 grandchildren. I look forward to reuniting with everyone at the Class Reunion.
