Robert Mikol:  

Robert finally got a steady girlfriend (Putt) at the age of 35. They were married a little over two years later and have been married for nearly 20 years! Bob and Putt have three boys and live in Fairbanks, Alaska. His education includes John Marshall High School (yay!) and the University of Alaska Fairbanks. At UAF he received a BS in Physical Geography with an emphasis in Climate Change Sciences and Landscape Analysis. At the current age of 57, he is finishing up an MS in Natural Resource Management. He has spent most of his professional career working in the geographic information sciences: GIS, remote sensing, analysis and cartography. He still prefers high energy employment with travel opportunities. He worked in the Bering Sea fisheries for over 20 years, the Alaska Fire Service for 6 years and currently conducts year-round field work in the Alaskan Arctic.
