Robert's Story
Life
(look for me in facebook) I grew up in Brooklyn NY where I attended St Jerome Grammar School and Power Memorial Academy. Right after HS, I enrolled in a 23 day wilderness experience called Outward Bound, one of those "see what you are made of" experiences. Very neat. Once I got back I joined the US Coast Guard. uch actual fire fighting, mostly rescue - car accidents, heart attacks, assaults. But it takes its toll. I don't know how people in NY or Miami do it. 18 yrs was enough for me. During that time I became a Christian and married my wife, Becky. I have does a variety of jobs since. We recently got back from China with our adopted daughter. I have now been to every continent - Asia, Rwanda Africa, Israel, London, Chile, Peru, Australia, Antarctica, throw in Tahiti, Pt Barrow Alaska, and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and I can truly say, "I have been around". But, of course, that is dust in the wind to the amazing little girl we brought home. It has been an amazing ride and it is not over yet. I hope yours has been good too.
