Robert's Story
Recently retired from UPS after 36+ years...last 29 as a district human resources manager. Relocations included Roanoke and Richmond, VA, held captive against my will in Philadelphia, PA for 10 years and spent time in Atlanta and lastly Louisville, KY where I served on the staff of a newly formed subsiderary of UPS after purchase of Menlo Worldwide Forwarding. Settled on Smith Mountain Lake outside Roanoke, VA. Currently involved in the community through a charity organization and president-elect of the local Rotary club. eggy Kimberlin Morrison (AHS class of '76). No kids, no grandkids but we do have a couple alpacas and a miniature donkey who act like two year olds. Probably the only class member who has the same car as in high school, although the '63 Ford convertable is definitely in better shape today than 40 years ago which is more than I can say about me...mild heart attack 10/06 and a mini-stroke 8/12. Too many years of late nights, air travel where arriving after resturants closed and only bars open with wings, potato skins and cold beer. So I've nixed the wings and potato skins but drew the line on the cold beer.
