Robert's Story
Life
I enlisted in the Air Force right after school, and married Christine Lyman ('72) shortly after. I spent 6 years in the military in electronics. We also had two children while in the service, Tiffiny (1974) and Robert Raphael (1978). I spent a year in the Civil Service at Selfridge ANGB. . I've been working at FANUC Robotics in Rochester Hills as a programmer since 1985. I tried by best from becoming a nerd, and ended up one anyway.
In 1994 we began foster parenting, and eventually adopted our charges, both impaired; Christian (1992) and William (1994). They keep us very busy. Tiffiny is married to a Finn, has two children, and lives in Helsinki, Finland. Raphy is also married, with three children.
