Robert's Story
Moved to Maywood at 16 which was a culture shock and graduated from Bogota High School
In 1972, I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in Mathematics. I then enrolled at Montclair State and studied for an Masters in Social Work but stopped just before getting my degree since I secured a position at NJ Bell.
In 1999, I retired from AT&T as the Knowledge Management Manager for Business Services,
In 1999, moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia, and assumed the Knowledge Management Director at Gannett Media Technologies International.
In 2006, I moved to Plantation, Florida, and assumed the role of the Digital Government Manager for Broward County, Florida.

ck of 14 years. Shortly after Patrick passed in 2014, My brother, who lived with my mother passed. Shortly after, my mother moved in with me in Wilton Manors Florida. I retired from Broward County in 2016 to care for my mother.
Excessively bullied during my youth, especially my years at Bogota high school, impacted my self confidence, Luckily both my Mom and Dad were ahead of the curve and fully supported my early challenges and later lifestyle from the very beginning. In fact I was exceptionally fortunate since my entire family supported me.
I firmly support human rights, equal protection and anti-bullying and hope to see universal protection at all levels of local, state and federal government before my time here on earth ends.
