Workplace I started as a lineman/cable splicer for New Eng Tel and loved working outside and ended up as an operator for a while to keep my service during a layoff. I ended up working with computers which was fun and a challenge but I hate being indoors...Expand for more
. I tried the mamagement thing but it was too much bull for me so I went the all technical route. I like being a DBA but this on-call 24x7 gets real old real fast. I have so many "other" jobs waiting to get done I hope to retire and work on them some day.
