Robert's Story
My short version: Moved to Seattle in 73. Tried being a good boy as the new kid on the block. Failed. Ran off with carnival for 5 years. Tried engineering education at UW and job at Boeing, couldn't take the smoke and meaningless hours.
Sold insurance for 3 years, was successfully miserable. Started software venture with 2 other partners. Lost millions, spent the next 10 years building insurance agency to repay fat debt.
Studied for ministry for 3 years and had radical faith adjustment over busted relationship.

and to do grad studies in psychology.
I've been in private practice for the past 20 years. Doing the work I'd do if I won the lottery. Have had years of fulfilling success doing counseling, writing, teaching and supervising.
Almost married a couple times, but never exchanged rings.
I keep a balance of work, playing squash, hanging with friends and family, boating, water and snow skiing and traveling.
I'm also building a little villa in the central Pacific coastal mountains in Costa Rica. Go down there about every 6 weeks or so.
