I'm so fortunate life has treated me well over the years. After leaving Bowie High School I spent a short spell in the Air Force & realized that wasn't for me. After the military I settled in Arlington and helped to start up a landscaping company and we did very well for a few years building it up to nice yearly net and about 25-30 employees. When In 1981 the bottom fell out of the housing market and that was that. Needless to say there wasn't a whole lot for me in Arlington other than clubs & parties. Which by this time I was pretty well burnt out on that scene and ready to slow down and return some what to my country roots. So I went west. Not really that far but far enough. It was a small town just west of Fort Worth called Springtown with a population of about 300. I settled into a job with a small a/c & heating co./builder & met my wife and soul mate Eva Justin.
