Robert's Story

I left Coos Bay in early July and joined the Marine Corps. That relationship lasted for 10 years before I realized that they didn't want me any more than I wanted them. Honorable discharge in hand, I went to the Boeing Company where they laughed and said sure, start on Friday. I've been with Boeing since 1979 and with luck; plan to end this relationship next Aug. Personally, First marriage to Sandra Johnston ended in a divorce after 31 years. Two grown sons and two or three grandkids depending on who you talk to. In 2002 I decided I needed an education so I applied to Embry-Riddle on-line University and this October I will be completing a dual master¿s degree in Human Factors and Education.
I remarried when I was stationed in Kiev, Ukraine and now have a 2 1/2 year old son who was born while we were in Brisbane Australia. As of this writing, 17 Jun 2008, I am stationed in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Two and a half years done and one more to go.
Hope this message finds you in good spirits and health and if not, get better.
