Robert Stothart:

CLASS OF 1967

Robert's Story

I'm really stretching it to say that I'm part of Northern Burlington's class of '67. I attended Northern in the seventh grade and then moved west with my family to Santa Fe. But many friends from elementary school in Crosswicks and Chesterfield continued on at Northern Burlington and since I've only been back to New Jersey a couple of times, I've lost track and would like to know how and what friends have done with there lives. I graduated from Santa Fe High School in '67. Went from there into VISTA and worked in West Virgina. There I met my wife Margot. We have two sons and one granddaughter. After many years of moving around for college and graduate school we have settled in Wyoming. Margot is a home-health and hospice nurse. I teach English ...Expand for more
at Northwest College in Powell, WY. My areas of study are creative writing and Native American Literature. I taught for the Nooksack Tribe in Washington State before coming to Wyoming. We followed our youngest son to Wyoming as he sought his fortune as a bull and bareback rider in rodeo. Currently I serve as academic adviser for the Northwest College rodeo team, one of my favorite parts of my job. Our son has retired from rodeo and with his wife and daughter are raising horses on a smally ranch where in about 6 years Margot and I will retire to help out. If any of you happen through Cody, we're only 40 miles from the east gate to Yellowstone, please look us up. The views are spectacular. As for pictures, I'll have to figure out how to do that.
