Robert's Story
Well lets see. I worked and played around for the first six months after graduation, then I joined the Air Force where I specialized in automatic flight control and compass systems. I met my first wife while stationed out of Sacramento. The last 18 months with the Air Force I was sent to a cold place called Newfoundland. wife. I worked at Beckman for five years then joined up with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Worked there for over 27 years, the last 14 years as a detective out of the City of Industry and Walnut station. I retired from the Sheriff's Department in 1996. Travel the country for the first couple of years then settled down. I gave away all my suits and I refuse to wear a watch. I have two wonderful sons and three grand sons, who are also wonderful. All in all I am very very lucky man.
