Although my entire life seemed to point towards getting into health care, the decline of the way the system operates and fails people who need it (just to benefit those running it) dimmed my desire for it.

't do it again, though it was offered, it is a good way to go for anyone who, like myself, had nothing happening right out of high school... It will definitely teach you things only IT can.
And, in today's world, I can't think of many things more satisfying that serving the country that has given us what it has. =)
