Life
Chester, Fred Gildart and EB Jobe are still my best friends----- I miss thoes days where EB would drive his Studibaker in front of the school during 6th period,,,We all stopped in class and wave him on,,,,,,,,,I know for a fact that that car wound not go over 30mph----"I swear to God, in spite of what EB said, he never hit second gear rubber"-------- and,,,,,,,and, we would go to creative legnths to make folks laugh, like the time we kicked the rubber machine off the wall at Hilltop ---thank you Chester, for saving my ass---"AGAIN"-----and the time we borrowed thoes pies out of the Bruce's pie truck.--we got so sick----- I can still see Fred walking down the hall with that rolled up drafting drawing balanced on his nose...and when Gordon Dunnaway had to eat lunch with the janitors and would scream in the school assembly-------man,,,nothing topped that. .that was funny......I want you to know that it was a real treat t...Expand for more
o have your name called by old Charlie Brown after school....----- and yes I did drive throught the grass in front of the school..........Times havn't changed much and you are asking yourself how can he do it-------The advantage here is that when you are over 50 and act like an ass you are considered to have a " great since of hummor",,,The Fat Man
College
It sure was hard for the good looking girls to turn us down for a ride up that big hill behind the gym. It was a target rich envoirnment and I loved very moment I went to school there.
I once told a friend of mine who was on probation. " man all you have to do to stay here and have fun was pass". When my parents told me these days would be the best of my lfe, they were sure right about that.
I will go down as the only person at SWT to take freshman english four times and I credit that expierence for this cerative and inspirational message.
