Robert's Story

Gail and I recently celebrated our 50th Wedding anniversary ... our children, Rob, Kim, Brad, Jeri, sent us to Hawaii for a week .... much fun. Am currently serving as President of Golden Hearts, the cardiac support unit for St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA and am also the Secretary of the Fullerton Elks Lodge, #1993 ... Retired after 50-plus years in the newspaper business and have written a couple of history books, including the history of Fullerton ... enjoying life... how aobut you! UPDATE -- FOUR YEARS LATER ... Still in Fullerton, CA... children are spread out somewhat ... Rob is is Ozark, MO ... Kim is in Apple Valley...Expand for more
, CA .... Brad in Placentia, CA and Jeri in Moreno Valley, CA .... Jeri may be moving to South Dakota ... I have gone through some heart problems, but my friends at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton have been there for me ... Sorry to have missed the 60th Reunion, but was getting a pacemaker/defibulator installed --- it's clicking along just fine... Getting ready to celebrate 78th birthday Nov. 3, 2012 and 54th anniversary on Dec. 28, 2012 ...Probably going to celebrate anniversary with hot air balloon ride. Going to Ozark, MO at end of October for Rob's wedding. will be great to see our two great-granchildren, William and Haley
