Robert's Story
After high school, I attended Purdue University and graduated in 1973 with a Civil Engineering Degree. I married Joy Kaldahl (Proviso West '73) in 1976.
We moved to Green River, Wyoming (culture shock after Chicago) in 1977 where I worked for Nelson Engineering. It was a great experience and I have a soft spot in my heart for Wyoming.
In 1984, we moved to the Denver area and have been happy here ever since. I work for Muller Engineering Company, a 45-person civil engineering firm. In 1995, Larry Muller passed away and a group of us bought the company. When it was asked who wanted to be president, I was the only one that didn't take a step backward. So, I have been president since 1995.

medical field since 1975. She is currently retired/between jobs. She has just begun working with Project Cure, a group that sends medical supplies and personnel overseas to needy countries.
Joy and I have two kids. Brett is 26, a graduate of Colorado State (Psychology). He makes his living in a Golf Pro Shop and aspires to get his PGA card to be a club pro.
Unfortunately Melinda passed away in 2001 - she would be 30 this year. She battled Hodgkins Lymphoma for 5 years.
I still play the trumpet in a 17 piece dance/jazz band and have a blast with it. I also bowl in 4 bowling leagues and possess a PBA Card. I bowl in an occaisional PBA tournament when they are in the Denver area. I also enjoy skiing in the fantastic Rocky Mountains.
