I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up DOES rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend. Remember...Hope is a good thing. es. I will be hoping that this finds all of you and finds you well... God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come with me." With tearful eyes I watched you, and saw you pass away. Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me He only takes the BEST! How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on-when in your heart you begin to understand-there is no going back? There are somethings that time cannot mend; some hurts that go too deep-that have taken hold... Never say goodbye, because goodbye means going away, and going away means forgetting. At the temple, there is a poem called "Loss" carved into the stone. It has three words - but the poet has scratched them out. You cannot read Loss, only feel it.". More about Robert:"An eccentric collector of a great many things...anything else is such a long story. Perhaps one night over dinner and a bottle of Jaeger or Absinthe - no screeching though ;-)".
