Graduated summer of 73’. I pursued a career in the shoe business after getting kicked off the football team for fighting. I worked for Woodward & Lothrop 2 1/2 years starting as a commission sales person , graduating to the Mens Hat Buyer over 16 stores. In 1977, I moved into the wholesale shoe business, as a manufacturer rep, for Weyco Shoe Corp. My career led me to Florida where I have lived for 40 years. Starting as a commission rep , I opened the Central & South American Markets, and was promoted to Director Of International Division. My career allowed my to learn new cultures, for example I reopened the South African Market right after Apartheid ended. Truly an incredible experience. A side note to Senora Fernandez Camus, you said I would never learn Spanish well , YOU WERE WRONG! I spent 18 years traveling, developing businesses in Central and South America.
