Robert J's Story
"SO HERE IS THE STORIE OF MY LIFE”
Well here is a quick story of my Life how it started back in Michigan in the year of 1951 that the day my life started. I lived there in a small house with my 3 sisters and 2 brothers plus my Dad and Mom. We all live in a small house all 8 of us in a two-bed room house till around 1954 that when my little brother was born, so we moved one year after that to my Dads Farm where he grows up and that where we lived and we all grow up there on the farm. Then I started school at a small school in Brighton, IN, I went there for 4 years then my Mom & Dad had me transfer to a Michigan school not far from where we lived its named Fawn River school, where my little brother started kindergarten and I started the 3rd grade there, it was a great move I did much better in class and the teacher was much better the school was a small one in the county I went there for seven years I was doing so good at that time so the school promoted me to the 9th grade, but I did go to summer class for 6 weeks to cover the 8th grade, then the next fall went to the 9th grade with all my friends. From there on school was great I took all the class I needed to the first 3 years then my 4th year I had a class in the morning for 2 hours then I worked the rest of the day I was in a coop class were you work and you get points and graded on it was great. The 4 year that I was going to high school I had some what a girlfriend, we went to gather although school tell the year after school we broke up and we went are own ways after 1970. Then I worked for a while then I went to a school in around Chicago, IL for 2 years then back to the farm for a while that when I send up to be in the National Guard in Michigan that was in 1976, then in 1977 they sent me to boot camp down south at Fort Jackson. SC for 6 weeks training then about a yrs. at Aberdeen Proving Grounds Maryland for school then after all that back home to the farm that when I started to work at the county Highway Dept. in LaGrange, IN I worked there for around 4yrs. Then in Oct. 1981 I send up to go into active to ARMY that when I moved back to Clark, New Jersey then to my duty station at FORT STEWART, GA I was station there till Dec of 1982 that when I was sent over to Europe to Germany I stayed there till around 1985 I came back to the states and was station in warren, MI but lived at the base in Selfridge Air Base outside of MT CLEMENS, MI. I was there for about a year then got out on Jan. 1986 then I moved and lived in New Jersey for about a year then I moved back to Michigan. I lived in about 4 places working at versus jobs then I moved to Elkhart, IN to work at a place there for about 3 years. That when I meet my wife online on B93Date.net out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was back in the year 1998 when I first chatted with her for a month or so, then in Dec, around the end of the month I moved to Michigan to Kalamazoo, MI that where she lived. I lived there for a month or so then we got married in July 16, 1999 and we lived in Kalamazoo, MI. Then around end of 2001 I start back driving Sima Truck for a trucking company I was driving for about 3 years then we moved out to live in Iowa in 2003 lived with my sister in Urbandale for about 7 months then lived in Ankeny for a while then moved to Altoona then to Des Moines, Iowa in year 2006. I still was Driving SEMA-TRUCK till I got hurt real bad in the end of 2004 and the beginning of 2005 I was off work for about 3 years and had surgery on my neck and right arm then, the Doctor said I need to find something else to do. So I spend time with my love ones, I had good days and there were bad days but there was more bad then good day but I dealt with it. So I got a job in Des Moines IOWA with TMC (Annette Holdings Inc). I will be a driver trainer for them showing the new Drivers the right way to drive the trucks that the Company got. Plus that way I'll be home every night. Well it was about a year with the Company they said they didn't need me any more so on 12/27/07 was my last day at TMC or called it Annette Holdings. So I'm right now I'm not working any were but looking I'll find something it just not good this time of year to find a good job but I will. I'm working at home till I can find a job again, well I found work at AUTOZONE that near me I will be driving delivering parts to commerce customer it working out fine. I worked there tell around OCT. 18-2010 they let me go so I'm back home working out of the house doing odd jobs drawing and other things that people need to be done. So as 2011 I'm out of work and I'm doing odd job, other than that I just taking it slow these days. Because I'm having some health problem so the Doctor said that I can only work part time so I'm looking for a part time job right now. Because as of 2010 I been out of work and cannot find any work so I been keeping the house cleaned up for the wife because she works all day so the most I can do is keep the house in order for us so that what I'm doing plus I'm doing a lot of cooking to making meals for the wife so she does not have to she worked all day so I do what I can to help out. neck and right arm that I hurt bad back in 2005 and was out of work, so my days on looking for work like I did I cannot do but he said I can do Part time maybe if the work is like setting down type jobs, so I been looking for something like that but not having any luck at it but I will keep trying to see what I can come up with. Most of the days I just Play hearts & spades online and work in the yard and around the house on things that not too hard to do so the wife will not have to do a lot when she get out of work every day so all she need to do is come home and rest. So between the house work and taking care of the two dogs Hank & Kirby they are great, they keep us companies all day we go for walks and truck rides plus they help me keep the house clean some times. Other than that I keep up on the Nascar and playing cards plus the stuff around the house I doing fine so far in my life right now. Just take it slow a day to day and some days it's hurting a lot but I deal with it the best that I can. So I have been living here in Des Moines, Iowa now for around 14 years, I been marred to a great gal for 1 years and going on with life as long as we can. So will see what life will bring are way as life goes on. So that somewhat the way my life been going any question send an e-mail to me and will chat.
Well it's August 22 2017 that's the day I lost my wife Evelyn she had ALS for two and a half years I took care of her 24/7 for that time she had. When she pass I sold the house in Iowa then moved to Elkhart IN to live. I stayed with my sister for a while till I find a place for me and my two kids Kirby and Jase the dogs they are more like kids to me. So as of right now I'm staying with my sister going every day looking at houses to see if I can find something around Elkhart to live if not any place be fine to live so will see what comes up as the time goes on.

(Sorry to hear about your knee surgery hope you doing well. I know what you going though my wife Evelyn had that done about 6 years ago, plus she had her right eye cataract surgery done about 5 years ago so I some what know what you going though. I Hope you had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year. All so my Christmas and new year was not to great this year I lost my wife Evelyn in August 22, 2017. She came down with ALS back in January 6, 2016 she was able to work part time for a while till around December 31, 2016 new years eve she fell. She went to hospital to get checked out than she had to go to a rehabilitation clink for a while till around February 6, 2017 she came back home. But this time she was in a hospital bed. So I'll be taking care of her from there on, but we did have help from ALS group to help me out though the week so I could get some rest this went on till August 22, 2017 she pass away that morning. But months before we talked on what I'll do when she is gone so I did what we talked about I cleaned up the place and put it up for sale and I started to pack up the house so I could move back to Indiana or Michigan so as I was doing that the place was sold in about two weeks so I started to move stuff around September 13,2017 I took 1 load out to Elkhart Indiana where my older sister lives. At that time I put my stuff in a storage unit out side Elkhart. Than on the 15th of September that's the day we put Evelyn to rest. After that I went back to Iowa to finish up loading up the rest of my stuff before the closing on the house around the October 24, 2017. So I didn't have much time to do much other then pack. I got most of everything packed before the 24th of October. So by 2PM on the 24 of October I was all packed up ready to head to Indiana. I left around 4:pm that day heading to Indaina with my two dogs. I drove for a while than rested at a stop for a while then off again till I got to Indiana the morning of the 25th of October about 5:am after that I put stuff in a storage unit than I went to my sisters to get rested up. Than from there on take it a day at a time and see what comes up. Well I'm going to go now but I'll keep in touch with you. )
Well I stayed with my sister and nephew from October to around the end of April. that's when I mate someone and we hit it off so we got marred and I moved to her one bedrm Apartment in South Bend IN. To live with my new wife and my two kids Kirby and Jase. So I been living in South Bend IN sent April 25, 2018. My days go slow I don't go out much Other then to get grocery and to Doctor appointment and other appointment that come up. But most of time I'm at the Apartment working on my computer on paperwork or I'm in the kichen cooking meals for us. I love cooking so I do most of the cooking. Some days I will make up a big pot of goulash and pack it up in freezer containers to cook up later. I keep the freezer filled up with all type of food that I make up. Other than that I'm mainly stay in an rest in the Apartment till its time for a nap or bed time.
"Well there not much else going in my life right now, but will see what the next day will bring that's all we can do in life is go day to day and see where you come out at in life."
