Robert's Story

I went to Cornell. It was intense, and then the late 60s happened. Sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll (well, two out of three isn't bad.) I did some things I wish I hadn't, but it turned out OK. I got into graduate school and got married at age 21. PhD in 1976 in mathematics, algebraic ...Expand for more
topology. Taught briefly in South Carolina. Moved to Chapel Hill NC, got divorced, studied computer science. Moved to Westchester County NY, took position at Fordham University. I've been there ever since, now full professor. Remarried, have one daughter. Thinking about retirement.
