Robert's Story
I'm living in Charlotte, NC and have been here over 20 years now. In my early post-college days it seemed like we moved a lot but I'm getting close to having lived more in Charlotte than any other place in my life, which is kind of weird. I have five kids, one each from every place I lived, plus two in Charlotte....Rory born in NY, Mark born in Kansas City, Matt born in Nashville and then Kristen and Stephen born in Charlotte. arlotte but only the two youngest are still at home. I've been working in HR and recruiting for a while now, lately in banking, which up till lately has been booming in Charlotte. The past couple of years have been kind of fun in the banking world and we're still waiting to see how it all comes out in the end. My parents and my brother Pete both moved to Charlotte from Levittown. Pete's married to a local girl with two young kids and both my folks are doing great. My Mom will be 80 in May and still walks several miles every morning.
