Robert's Story
Life
Geez, I have done so many different things after high school that I am reminded of the Danny Kaye movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty". I hunted Russian submarines in the navy. I have washed dishes, mopped floors, done construction, operating rooms, emergency rooms, played in a rock band and came REALLY close to making it big, made computer chips. Lots of stuff. Although since 9\11 I have kinda had it rough not really bad but kinda rough. Went through bankruptcy, lost a custom home and 10 acres plus horses to debt. Since then I have had several jobs none of which I would call anything near a career. My wife, Jan, and I are currently living near Sunset Texas, 4 miles west of there. We have 40 acres which half of is heavily wooded. We have creeks and ponds it is quiet and is really beautiful.

d to what is actually going on over there is a travesty of justice. I got to go to numerous places there in Iraq and saw a lot of stuff. Got shot at several times while flying from water plant to water plant. I came home in late June of 2007.
I went to work right after that for Obrist Americas Inc. out of Salt Lake City Utah but I work out of mu house. I travel ALL the time and am home basically on the weekends. The company makes bottle caps for Coca-Cola and Dasani water. My job is to go to the bottlers when there is a problem and decide whether it is a mechanical issue or a quality issue with the caps.
I got laid off from there after 2 years and 10 months, went for 2.5 years unemployed finally got a job as the maintenance department for a very small recycling company, Universal Recycling Technologies. I stayed there for a year and a half, then went to work as a facilities engineering technician at Amazon in Haslett... still tere
