Well nothing turns out the way we planned it, not even close. I'm on my third marriage, yes third. I have 3 children: John 24, Sara 23, Alex 18 and yes they are all taller than me, and two adopted sons James 29 and Tim 27. I have been in law enforcement (that should not surprise anyone) for 24 years. At this time I am also in the Army Reserve since 1995 (cause Police retirement sucks in AR) just finished my third tour Sept.'09 and I retire 10-19-2012. As you may have noticed I live in Camden, AR (God I miss California). Not by choice, my ex-wife was from Camden and we left after the '89 earthquake (had two small children and lived on the Hayward fault). Many a day I think about where I would be if I would have stayed. down alittle (but not much). Still love to dance and have a good time. Medical retired from Camden PD and now I teach at the Arkansas Police Academy for the the last 5 1/2 years.
I'm still a Rock and Roller with a little country thrown in. Hunt in the deer woods and I still hug a tree now and then. I don't litter. I listen to Jimmy Buffett quiet a bit and love my kids, 3 grand daughters and a new grandson. I have 3 Pugs that make me laugh and I'm not sure I would change much of my past if would change where I am now. What a ride its been.
It has been two days since Trump was elected and the world has not fallen apart. Have less the 1 year, 11 months and 11 days, maybe sooner, and i will hang it up for good. Plan on a few road trips to start, work on my bucket list, and smell the roses. Plan is to see my old friends and make it another year.
