Robert's Story
After graduation, I attended UC Irvine and stayed for only one year. Too much time on the beach and little time in classes can do that. I transferred to University of San Francisco and joined Army ROTC. I was able to get serious and keep focused so I turned by grades around significantly. After that year in San Francisco, I again felt the need to keep moving and I transferred to University of Southern California. The same school my twin, Robin, had attended since graduation.
At USC, I found a home and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. I was also commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army and bra...Expand for more
nched Military Intelligence. I would spend the next 7 years with the Army on both active duty and reserve assignments.
After USC and some time on active duty, I retuned to school and attended Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. I received my Juris Doctor and have been practicing law every since. I currently have a practice with my wife (a UCLA graduate) in Gold River, CA (outside of Sacramento). We have two adult children who both attended Arizona State University on full academic scholarships. Our oldest is a Food Writer/Editor for the Phoenix New Times and our youngest will be attending law school in the fall.
