Robert's Story
Happenings since graduation:
I have been living in Dallas, Texas since 1982. I moved here after the mining consulting company I worked for in Tucson, (Mountain States Mineral Enterprises) had a severe lay off in 82. I moved to Texas to find employment.
My career has consisted of working for several national engineering and environmental consulting firms; a hard rock, sand and gravel mining company; and Texas Electric Utility (now known as Luminant Energy). For Luminant I am the Lead Permit Coordinator and Senior Engineering Analyst for the Martin Lake Mine Site. I am currently married. I have two girls; both are college graduates, one married, and one is still single. They live in Plano and Richardson Texas, respectively.
The Dallas area is very cosmopolitan. There are lots of people here from all over the world. You can find just about anything you¿d like to do here; especially if you have money. I enjoy working with my hands; maintaining my home and property; and designing and building things out of wood. When I can I enjoy hunting whitetail deer, feral hogs and javelins; I hunt with a bow.
