Robert's Story

Life Had a great 6.5 years on Grand Lake making money and having fun. Got married in '02 to an extroidanary woman who gave me a beautiful little girl in Dec. '03. I left the marine business and became a financial consultant with A.G. Edwards. In 2 years I was offered a wonderful opportunity as a partner in southern Arkansas and was able to fast forward my career by 10-15 years. We still enjoy boating up on Grand in our 37' boat with all of our friends and family. We have traveled extensively and really enjoy it; Grenada & St. Vincent-honeymoon on a barefoot cruise, Bermuda-fun trip, South Beach to Key West on a Harley-fun trip, snow skiing in the Rockies, St. Louis Cardinal games, OU football games, and going to Scotland in summer of '06. Might have another child after we get back from Scotland, still up in the air on that one. I really enjoy offroading and roc...Expand for more
kcrawling. A great time and even better people. Great way to see the back country of the wonderful USA as long as our government will remember the land is for everyone! The one thing my wife and I always remember is to say thank-you to our Dear Lord who provided us with wonderful opportunites that we try to maximize every day through hard work and harder play. My advice---save 10-15% today so you can live tomorrow, get rid of your credit cards, practice the power of prayer, never go to bed mad, and best of all, sleep when your dead-play hard, we are only here for a short time! Best financial quote I was ever told, "Bulls & Bears make money, Pigs get slaughtered." Know when to take a profit and be happy with it! Get greedy and kiss any return goodbye. If you like to play penny stocks, do it online. If you want to retire in comfort, look me up. (El Dorado, AR)
