Robert's Story
Life
Where to start... I left home at an early age to join the circus. Since I had no acrobatic or clown talent, I settled on the Air Force. I've been serving since 1984. (Why does that sound so long ago?) lol
Life and God have been very good to me, far better than I deserve in fact. I am blessed with a beautiful and loving wife (the third) two wonderful daughters full of love for the Lord and a stepson full of energy, fire and zeal. Everyday with God is better than the one before.
The past three years have been very busy and more exciting, but I'll write more about that later.
To answer questions:
Biggest crush: Brenda Hanover (4th, 5th & 6th grades and a few years there after... ;-). Then the biggest crush prior to age 33 - Jan Harris (First Wife), Sheila Wallace (only ever kissed her, no matter what Jan Harris says!). There were others, but the list would go on and on and there are only 2462 characters left! lol
Best Friends: Mike Skaggs, Tom McGlasson (even though he cost me Brenda Hanover! No hard feeling Tom), Tommy Rioux, Steve Redman, and Shawn Kelly. Never forget Marie Heble, Elem School in ...Expand for more
TX.
Most influential teacher: Mrs. Gates (4th grade), Mr. Miller (6th), Ms Anderson (9th), Mr. Carr & Mr. Mathis (10th & 11th).
Biggest "If Only...": If only I had applied myself more academically, stepped out of my comfort zone and risked more socially, and if only I had developed better people skills then!
If you're reading this and get the urge, drop a line, I answer back, even if my memory needs jogging! lol
School
Boy did I get around! lol Eight different schools in just 12 years! I guess I'll have a lot of Bios to write on this thing.
Lets answer these questions...
Biggest Crush: Brenda Hanover
Most inspiring Teacher: Mrs Gates (4th Grade, Mr Smith 6th Grade) - Qualifying this answer, it applies to MC Schools.
Will never forget Mike Skaggs for his ability to identify adjectives... "He was gay." That comment started an intense lecture in 5th grade english class!! I still laugh about that!
I joined the Air Force after high school (graduated in NJ) and survived all these 20 years. Served in Saudia Arabia in 1990 and now I organize, train & equip those airmen who deploy. God bless them all.
